Syracuse Temple
This 88,000-square-foot three-story temple development on a 12-acre site provides a sacred place for its members within the growing area of Davis County, Utah. Sited at 1025 South 2500 West, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has its reputation for providing temple environments consisting of serenity and opulence indoors while surrounded by walkable garden plazas and accessible parking outside.
As part of the design team working with Architectural Nexus, Meridian supported the project with comprehensive civil engineering services, including supplemental topographic surveys, easement coordination, utility master planning, and the design of irrigation, drainage, and grading systems. Our civil design team also prepared plans for 450 parking stalls, roadway access, and walkable plaza areas, while coordinating with the City on permits and off-site improvements to 2500 West and the subsurface land drain system connecting to city facilities as required to support the new building and landscaped areas. Meridian also provided construction staking while working with Wadman Corporation and Green Construction during its construction phase.
