Cascade Elementary

Summary

This 80,000 square foot K-6 elementary school rebuild designed by the KMA Architects team for Alpine School District integrates with Cascade Park and Tennis Courts to the east within a lovely residential neighborhood. Located at 860 East 200 North, Orem, Utah, the final product built by Westland Construction, serves a community of over 758 students with a safe environment in which every student reaches his or her highest potential and is well prepared for success in secondary school education.

Meridian provided the Boundary and Topographic surveys for the project. The civil site work by Meridian included drainage and accessible grading plans, parking, bus and parent drop off pick up zones, playgrounds and play field design, sidewalk, curb and gutter, utility plan tie-ins including water and sewer, and site balance and storm water retention system. Construction period services and storm water pollution prevention plans were also included in the civil design scope.
