Salt Lake City Public Safety Complex

Summary

This replacement building consisting of 172,000 square feet for occupancy occurred on a new site. Located at 475 South 300 East and designed to withstand a maximum credible earthquake with a lateral force resisting system. The final product built by Okland Construction, serves as the center for city’s police, fire, and emergency operations departments. Additional features include multi-use spaces for public gatherings, a police and fire museum, and an outdoor plaza for public festivals and events.

 

The survey work by Meridian included all design grade topographic survey, boundary analysis and final subdivision platting for Salt Lake City Corporation Engineering.
