Taylorsville DABC Retail Store

Summary

The new Taylorsville Liquor Store is approximately 13,600 sq ft in size and sited approximately 1.5 acres of state-owned property. Located at 2700 West 4431 South, the final product built by Keir Construction, provides an alternative location to purchase cold beer and spirits.

Inside one will find spaces for retail sales including cold beer, storage, office, restrooms, a break room with lockers, stock room. The retail area features a unique premium products tower clad in stained maple wood slats with glass display boxes. Jacoby’s use of daylighting, combined with stylish woodwork characterize the interior and exterior architecture.

Meridian site design included ALTA survey, civil site design for walking path connections, drainage, grading for vast parking areas and the shipping/loading dock. Utility plans for water and sewer, and site hydraulic analysis were included. Construction period services and storm water pollution prevention plans were also included in the civil design scope.
